Isaac Ekblad
Isaac Ekblad is co-founder and Co-Director of Cascadia Psychodynamic Training Clinic, which he started with Seth Aichele in 2026. In private practice, he sees patients at his offices in Fremont and Sedro-Woolley. He holds a BA in Philosophy from Lewis & Clark College and an MA in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, and he is a member of the Center for Object Relations. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington (LH61247990).
At the clinic, Isaac teaches alongside Seth and leads a monthly seminar for interns. His teaching draws on clinical experience as much as theory, and his research and curriculum explore where psychotherapy meets philosophy, literature, film, and art. You can learn more about Isaac’s approach to psychotherapy on his website.
