Most of what the world offers for pain comes in the shape of a solution: fix the thinking, manage the symptom, get back to work. Some of it helps. But there are kinds of suffering that don't want to be solved so much as they want to be heard, really heard, by someone who won't rush you toward feeling better before you've been understood.

That's the work I do. I don't have a method for making you whole, and I don't think you're broken. What I can offer is steady company in the harder rooms of a life such as the grief, the patterns that keep returning, and the question underneath the question. We go at the pace the material asks for. Some of what surfaces will surprise us both. I'd be glad to sit with you there.
