Text Messaging Terms

Cascadia Psychodynamic Training Clinic PLLC ("CPTC") uses text messages to communicate with clients about intake and appointments. This page explains how we send texts, how to opt in, and how to opt out.

Who sends messages

Messages come from CPTC clinicians and our intake coordinator. Intake questions go to intake@cascadia.clinic or (425) 215-1936.

How you opt in

You agree to receive text messages when you check the consent box on our intake form at cascadia.clinic. Consent is never a condition of receiving services. If you do not check the box, we will not text you.

What messages you will receive

Messages cover intake follow-up, appointment confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling. We do not send marketing or promotional messages. Our texts do not include clinical information, session content, or diagnoses. Please do not send sensitive information by text.

How often

Message frequency depends on your appointments. Most clients receive a few messages per appointment.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any message at any time. We will send one confirmation and no further texts from that number. To re-subscribe, check the consent box on a new intake form or contact us.

Help

Reply HELP to any message, or call (425) 215-1936.

Privacy

We do not share mobile numbers or text consent with third parties for marketing purposes. We send messages through Telzio, which has a business associate agreement with CPTC. Our full privacy policy is at cascadia.clinic/privacy.

Carrier disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
